Reminds me of myself by AlphaMoxley95 Reminds me of myself by AlphaMoxley95
Yeah, i did have a rough past involving family issues and abuse. It started before i started High School. I really do think the past is trying to kill me. You may think its funny, but its more serious than you think..Besides that if you watched or read Watamote, Tomoko Kuroki and i have alot in common and that's is why she is one of my favorite female anime character. I'll be posting more Watamote stuff in the future.

I also felt the same way about her and me.

But after watching a few more episodes she seemed a lot more desperate for social interaction than me...

Still she's the 3rd cutes anime girl in my list.

I've watched episode 1 through 11 right now of Watamote, and it's rare for me to say this, but I love this slice of life genred anime, it plays out from a flipped perspective, a lot of slice of life anime always focuses on harems and positivity with minor or serious struggles which often get fully resolved in the next few episodes, but Watamote says "fuck your happy chappy bigotry and empty minded socialism", Tomoko as a character despite the comical anime-ish characterization is actually on the level of an actual person undergoing all too real social experiences, or in this case the exclusion of, reclusive nature itself is something a lot of people know, but often won't tell of it, I know, I'm a shut in myself, just not that bad of one because I've learned how to stop giving a flying fuck. But yes, there were times as I watched the series, that I just thought "damn, I wanna give her hug" because some of the situations were just fucked up realistically speaking, hehe, a douche bag little brother who makes you think he'd come off as the big brother, a common and all too real showing of "family does more harm than good", of course to be fair, it's more like half and half as siblings tend to do that, maybe not on their level, but still. Then there's the sting we all know and loath, you made plans with a friend but they cancel on you at the last second for personal reasons leaving you in the lurch, yeah~~~, that shit happens. The hardest impact a scene had on me in the series was episode 10 when it seemed like her club passed and was made official by the student council, but once it was found out that it was just a day-dream and she was having a tea party with her plush toys, only word to sum it up, or way to say it properly, "oooooowwwwhhhh right in the feels", call me getting touchy, but that scene stung, I felt that one, just when you think she's happy, the anime bitch-slaps you and yells NOPE in your face like Cryaotic when he gets freaked out. I'm hoping to be able to watch episode 12 sooner or later, I give the series a thumbs up for being different despite most people saying "ooohhhh, how emo~~", but the fact is, this shit happens to people, suffering in silence, worst pain you could ever imagine, fucks with your head entirely. Now, that's all from the Blaze! Woot-woot!

Here, let me handle this.

I see Tomoko as the Bizarro version of Keima Katsuragi from the world god only knows.  Both of them get their perception of reality from Dating sims and are both very skilled at them, but Tomoko thinks they reflect reality alot more than it actually does, while Katsuragi thinks the real world is nothing like his games, while he's able to use his gamer skills to get all the girls

I love her!

And yes, I have been also been relating to her... Only you know... without the "female version" since well... yeah.
